Avanti Therapeutic Projects Symposium

The Avanti Therapeutic Projects Symposium is a continuation of a staple in pediatric continuing education that began in 1980. First run by Eileen Richter and known as the PDP Symposium and then the RAIR Symposium, it was then passed to Heather Schmidt and was known as the Integrative Education Symposium. Avanti Therapeutic Projects is accepting the torch to continue the Symposium’s mission of being a trusted source of annual professional development courses and a valuable networking event for pediatric professionals.

Frequently Asked Questions

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be in writing, received one week prior to the online courses. Refunds will not be granted after that date. Eligible refunds will be issued (less a $50 processing fee) following within 30 days. No refunds will be granted without written cancellation. Please email education@campavanti.com for cancellation requests. 

If Avanti Therapeutic Projects would need to cancel a course, the participant is entitled to either a full refund or credit equal to their payment that may be applied to the new course date (if applicable) or to another Avanti Therapeutic Projects Symposium course. In the event of a cancellation, Avanti Therapeutic Projects will notify participants via email.

Completion Policy

To qualify for contact hours, you must complete the course in its entirety. Whether attending live or watching the recording, the completion of a post-course quiz with a passing score of 80%, as well as a course evaluation, is required.

Course handouts for all Symposium courses will be emailed to attendees prior to the event.

Registration

Q: How do I register for the Avanti Therapeutic Projects Symposium?

A: Registration will be available on the symposium page of the Avanti Therapeutic Projects website starting on Jan 6th, 2025.

Q: When is the last day to register?

A: Registrations must be completed by the end of the day Tuesday, February 25, 2025.  

Q: How do I get the group discount? 

A: Email education@campavanti.com with the names of each group member so you can receive your group code. When registering, choose the group rate option and enter your group code.  Make sure you have your group code when registering.

 

Q: After I register, can I switch classes if needed?

A: Yes! We can easily switch you to your preferred course. Email us at education@campavanti.com to request a session change. 

Event Details

Q: What is the virtual platform?

A: Course sessions will be hosted via Zoom.

Q: When will I receive the Zoom link for the course?

A: Zoom links will be sent within a week of the event.  

Q: Will there be recordings available?

A: Yes!  For each session, a recording will be available within one week of the event and for 45 days of viewing. Contact hours will be awarded if course requirements are met.

Q: Will there be course handouts available?

A: Yes!  Each course will have handouts emailed to you before the event.

Q: When can I log in to the course?

A: For each course, the Zoom room will open at 8:15 AM CST, and courses will begin promptly at 8:30 AM CST. 

Q: What time do classes start & end?

A: Courses start at 8:30 AM CST and end at 4:00 PM CST. 

Refunds

Q: I can no longer attend the live webinar.  Can I get a refund?

A: If you can no longer attend and are not interested in the on-demand viewing option, and it is one week before the Avanti Therapeutic Projects Symposium (February 20, 2025, or before), a refund request can be made in writing. Full refunds will not be granted after that date.  Refunds (less a $50 processing fee) will be issued within 30 days of the request.  No refunds will be given without written cancellation.  Email us at education@campavanti.com. All courses offer an on-demand viewing option to be released within one week of the event and 45 days of viewing from the release date.

CEUs

Q: If I am an OT, will I get AOTA-approved CEUs for these courses? 

A: No, these courses are not eligible for AOTA CEUs. Once you complete all course requirements, you will receive a certificate of contact hours which qualify for continuing education credits in many states.
